Many old pianos are now being dumped, abandoned, neglected, smashed - even burnt. Why is this happening, and should we care? |

Can these pianos be restored? The manpower cost in Singapore is not cheap. I saw someone provide piano disposal service. Maybe arranging disposal is the only choice eventually

This is a very old model, metal parts rusty, hammers overused and sticky

What’s the worst condition that a piano can be damaged to? Due to humidity problem in Singapore, pianos are easy to get mouldy, rusty, sticky... Here’s some pianos in bad condition that I have met in Singapore.
Strings rusty and broken, clothes inside mouldy
