The sound of an accoustic piano gives me a memory of playing with my parents at home. All the pianos are in reasonable prices, I don't like to spend too much money on a brand new piano because I think used piano can meet my requirements. And I don't want to buy a digital because I don't like the electric tone...

My kids like YAMAHA piano because the sound is clear and loud, and the keys are easy for them to play.
But as for me, I can not tell any difference of the sound as compared to other pianos.

Assuming the pianos are well maintained, YAMAHA U1 sound brighter than KAWAI pianos, and YAMAHA's touch is lighter than KAWAI pianos.
And KAWAI NS20 sound more mellow than KAWAI K25. You need to try the pianos and then make a decision.

I have been playing on a digital piano for a year and prefer playing classical pieces. I’m searching for a used upright piano now.
After reading a lot of forum post, I’ve landed on either Yamaha or Kawai. The problem is that I live in Johor and not too many used piano sellers in our place. Here’s the options I’ve been looking at: A new Kawai K-25 A used Kawai NS20 A used Yamaha U1 Hope any specialist can help me make a decision. |
