My First Piano Adventure For The Young Beginner: Writing Book C

Written for ages from 3, My First Piano Adventure® captures the child's playful spirit. Fun-filled songs, rhythm games and technique activities develop beginning keyboard skills. The three levels, A, B, and C, each have a Lesson Book and a Writing Book. The level A and B Lesson Books include CDs for listening and play-along as well. Book C of this young beginner course leads into Level 1 of basic Piano Adventures®. My First Piano Adventure® Level A introduces the keyboard, note values, and pre-reading. Level B introduces the grand staff and steps on the staff. Level C introduces skips on the staff.

Piano Adventures Primer Level orients the student to the piano through black-key pieces that explore the range of the keyboard. This is followed by off-the-staff note reading, which teaches the keyboard letter names and basic rhythms.

This lesson book organises materials into units which represent major concepts and skills, and revises and reinforces concepts introduced earlier. The pieces represented in this book also cover a range of styles.

This method truly brings a sense of adventure to learning the piano, and encourages and motivates student’s to learn, with its diverse range of repertoire and resources.
